David Rudd, Co-Founder | Kindred Real Estate Group at Compass

David Rudd is the Co-Founder of Kindred Real Estate Group at Compass, a real estate team serving buyers and sellers across San Diego County, California; Dallas–Fort Worth, Texas; and Northern Nevada, including Reno, Sparks, Fernley, and Carson City. With more than two decades of real estate experience, David brings a practical understanding of property valuation, construction, and residential transactions to his work. His background in appraisal and general contracting helps him guide clients through pricing decisions, evaluate a home’s condition and potential, and consider how improvements may affect its value. David’s experience includes first-time home purchases, move-up sales, luxury properties, relocation, new construction, and investment real estate. He emphasizes clear explanations and thoughtful preparation, helping buyers understand what they are purchasing and sellers identify the steps that can strengthen their position before going to market. David co-founded Kindred with a focus on personal service, client education, and collaboration. Through its local teams, Kindred combines community knowledge and hands-on representation with Compass’s technology, marketing resources, and national network. Education remains central to David’s approach. Through home seller workshops, market guidance, and individual consultations, he helps homeowners understand pricing, preparation, negotiation, and the decisions that shape a successful transaction. In addition to all of that, David is a published real estate author and contributing author of The Essential Guide to San Diego Real Estate: Insights from San Diego County’s Top Agents (2017). Whether clients are buying, selling, relocating, or considering an investment, David’s goal is to give them the knowledge and guidance to move forward with confidence.
